Service Agreement

When you bring a timepiece to D K Clock Shop for repair or restoration, you enter into a service agreement with us. We will provide a written estimate before beginning any work, and no work will commence without your explicit approval of the estimate and these terms.

Estimates and Pricing

• All estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue
• Estimates are based on initial examination and may be subject to revision if additional issues are discovered
• We will contact you before performing any work that exceeds the original estimate by more than 20%
• Diagnostic fees may apply for complex evaluations and will be disclosed upfront

Payment Terms

Payment terms and conditions:

• Payment is due upon completion of services unless other arrangements have been made
• We accept cash, check, and major credit cards
• For extensive restorations, we may require a deposit before beginning work
• Timepieces not collected within 90 days of completion may be subject to storage fees

Service Coverage and Limitations

Our service coverage includes:

• We stand behind our workmanship and will address any issues related to our repair work
• Coverage applies only to the specific work performed and does not extend to other components
• Normal wear and tear, misuse, or damage after service is not covered
• Vintage and antique timepieces may have inherent limitations due to age and availability of parts

Customer Responsibilities

As our customer, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information about your timepiece's history and any previous repairs
• Disclose any sentimental or exceptional value of the timepiece
• Collect your timepiece within a reasonable time after completion
• Pay all charges in accordance with our payment terms

Limitation of Liability

While we exercise the utmost care in handling your timepiece, our liability is limited to the value of the repair service provided. We are not liable for any consequential, incidental, or special damages. For timepieces of exceptional value, we recommend obtaining appropriate insurance coverage.

Parts and Materials

• We strive to use genuine manufacturer parts when available
• For vintage timepieces, we may use high-quality aftermarket or refurbished parts
• All replaced parts become the property of D K Clock Shop unless specifically requested otherwise
• We cannot be held responsible for the future availability of parts for discontinued models

Unclaimed Property

Timepieces not collected within 180 days of completion notification will be considered abandoned property. After providing written notice, we may dispose of unclaimed items in accordance with Texas state law. Storage fees may apply for extended periods.

Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and design elements, is the property of D K Clock Shop and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not use our content without written permission.

Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using our services, you consent to our privacy practices as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from our services will be resolved through good faith negotiation. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be subject to binding arbitration in accordance with Texas state law, with proceedings held in Collin County, Texas.

Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any legal proceedings will be conducted in the appropriate courts of Collin County, Texas.
